Power Outage Thousands Remain Without Power In Eastern Ontario Western Quebec Following Windy Friday
Hydro One says strong winds caused power lines to fall, broken poles and fallen trees on power lines on Friday, and many customers were left without power overnight. There have been approximately 17,500 unplugged Hydro One customers around eastern Ontario as of 8 a.m. Saturday. By 10 a.m., that number had dropped to just over 10,000 customers in the area.
