Investigators say a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old were killed and one of them was thrown by a Kia sedan that crashed into a truck in the SR-46. The soldiers said a witness told them that the driver of the sedan was crossing another lane when he collided head-on with another driving in the other direction. The 1-year-old in the sedan was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital with serious injuries, the soldiers said. SR46 closes in Wekiva in both directions, bad accident / fire dead. The truck overturned and caught fire due to the collision, according to a report. The soldiers said the driver in the pickup and four passengers managed to get out of the truck. Soldiers said the crash remained under investigation and charges were pending.

Two people were killed in the crash and three people were taken to hospital for treatment, soldiers said. The soldiers said one of the people injured in the crash was taken to hospital by helicopter.
