Video released by the NYPD shows the assailant approaching his 30-year-old victim from behind around 8:30 a.m. near Woodbine Street and Ridgewood Place in Bushwick and places her in a choke hold. He then wrestles her on the sidewalk behind a parked car. The woman’s dog can be seen barking furiously as the man climbs on top of the woman, footage shows. Police said the officer continued to choke the victim and assault her for her clothing before fleeing east on Woodbine Street. “That junk literally placed her in a chokehold and pushed her to the ground and nearly choked her unconscious,” a police source told The Post on Sunday. The victim initially refused medical attention, but was later treated at Interfaith Medical Center, police said. She suffered a cut to her neck and bruising and swelling to both eyes, a police source said. His black hair, mustache and chin were dreaded, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hat with a pink design on the front and was also wearing a black T-shirt, shorts and sneakers, according to authorities.
