Vernon dog breeder Karen Smith has just the ticket to put a smile on your face – live streaming goldendoodle puppies. Catch the adorable pups frolicking or peeling in the shade at Silver Star Doodles. The newest litter has 15 healthy puppies, eight males and seven females, ranging from cream to apricot to reddish brown. Their coats vary from straight to wavy and curly. “I’ve seen our puppies bring joy to many visitors, from friends with young children to grandparents in their nineties, puppies bring smiles to their faces and bring joy,” says Smith. “My friend suggested I live stream the puppies so they could have some puppy zen in their busy work day and I guess it struck a chord.” With over 75,000 views, people tune in to watch the daily live stream, watch the puppies play, eat, sleep and go about their daily lives. A series of individual videos also introduce each puppy. Other videos show the puppies running with Smith’s daughter. “I love watching the puppy live stream, it just puts a smile on my face, they’re so cute,” says viewer Hal Hobenshield. “When I’m stressed at work, I take breaks to connect and get my dose of puppy zen,” says Yolanda Foose of Whistler. “We love the videos! We sit down and watch them as a family to stay excited and invested while we wait for our puppy,” says Lianna Miller of Kamloops.
