They can choose to join the AEW roster and appear in matches and storylines in a program of events in career mode, or show off their maneuvers during tag team matches in online co-op. AEW’s roster of talent will give players the chance to step into the wrestling shoes of some of the most legendary wrestlers to ever step into the ring, while also bringing brand new AEW talent to the fore. The game currently doesn’t have a release date, and it’s been over a year since AEW executive vice president Kenny Omega suggested they plan to release it in the first quarter of 2022.
