Mark Bankston, who is representing Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis in their ongoing defamation lawsuit against Jones, made the startling claim during cross-examination of the Infowars founder on Wednesday. According to HuffPost reporter Sebastian Murdock, Mr Bankston asked Jones: “Did you know that 12 days ago your lawyers messed around and sent me an entire digital copy of your entire cell phone with every text message you’ve sent in the last two years; “And when he was informed he took no steps to mark it as a privilege?” Jones had argued when he discovered he couldn’t find any texts about the Sandy Hook shooting on his phone. “If I was wrong, I was wrong, you have the text messages right there,” Jones replied. Jones denied lying under oath. A jury is deciding how much Jones must pay in damages to Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, who lost their six-year-old son Jesse Lewis in the 2012 school shooting that killed 20 children and six adults.
