A 75-year-old woman, Tetyana Gramushnyak, was killed in a bomb blast while cooking outside her home in Bucha. Her body went down to a grave on Thursday in a purple coffin in which she carried a cross. Elsewhere in Bukha, sunlight cast an eerie red glow over the dark bedroom and empty expression of Nadiya Trubchaninova, 70, who was putting a portrait of her sons. Oleg and Vadim Trubchaninov, 46 and 48, were killed by Russian soldiers in Bukha, where officials say more than 400 bodies have been found and the death toll could rise as mines comb the area. A woman opened the door with a look of terror on her face as she saw the helmeted, armed figures holding shields in the hallway. Inside an apartment, a soldier took some time to play with a large tabby cat lying on a carpet. At the Kramatorsk train station, where more than 50 people were killed and dozens more injured earlier this month, flowers and sparklers adorned a fence in memory of the dead. A Russian rocket hit the station as it was filled mainly with women and children trying to leave.
