A business owner affected by the fire said his new Mexican restaurant was scheduled to open on Saturday, just one day after the fire broke out. He told Global News that he had been working on renovations for a few months. “It’s catastrophic,” said Joe Inacio. “My wife was crying. “He came down here and saw the fire and it is just devastated; they will let us save what we can at the moment and then we will try to contact the insurance company and see how it goes.” “It’s just bad luck over bad luck,” Inassio said, referring to the fire and the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. “It must be completely evacuated… and renovated again.” The story goes on under the ad An investigation has been launched into the origin, causes and conditions of the fire.
