Lancashire Constabulary was called by paramedics to a property in Garsdale Road, Ribbleton, at 12.18pm. on Wednesday (August 3). Emergency crews took the child to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment, but he was pronounced dead later that day. The baby was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he sadly died later in the day. “Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.
