Former Clinton adviser and pollster Mark Penn joined The Story on Thursday to analyze why President Biden is losing support in key Democratic blocs. MARK PENN: These are spectacularly low [approval] numbers. To really come to this, only a third is favorable and in the 20s for independents, of course it does [Biden’s] re-election a virtual weakness. The administration must rotate or it will be a tornado of interim terms if these numbers continue to apply. And honestly, they had month after month here to do something to reverse inflation, immigration, Ukraine, crime. And they just haven’t done it. They have made small small gradual changes.
