Billie Eilish made history on Saturday as the youngest artist to ever star in the California Indio Music Festival – but she found the time to shout out the 2018 Beyoncé headliner.
“Thank you, Coachella! “I’m sorry I’m not Beyoncé,” 20-year-old Eilish told the crowd.
“I love you goodnight.”
Earlier on the set, the “Bad Guy” singer joked that “she should not be a pioneer on this st”, adding that she was “so grateful” to play on the legendary stage.
“This is such a dream come true,” he exclaimed. “I feel crazy.”
Eilish also described her “three rules for the night” at one point, which included not judging others, not being “a hole” and just “having fun, bitch.”

Beyoncé, 40, previously topped the festival in 2018, making a career-defining show that included a Destiny’s Child reunion, epic dance numbers by Les Twins and a cameo by Jay-Z’s husband, sister Solange Knowles. And much more.
Eilish, for her part, also brought some surprise guests to the stage over the weekend, including Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn and her “Lovely” partner Khalid.

“It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced. [Damon] “It changed my life in many ways and it changed my outlook on what music, art and creation could be,” he said before the couple sang Gorillaz’s hit “Feel Good Inc”.
Eilish’s show followed Harry Styles headlining the night before. The former One Direction singer turned his fans into a frenzy when he released country star Shania Twain for a surprise rendition of “Man! I feel like a woman! “

“This lady taught me to sing,” Styles, 28, told Twain, 56. “He also taught me that men are rubbish.”
Later in the set, he bluntly told the crowd, “We have 12 minutes… to dance,” before adding, “I may be fast on some things, but this is not one of them.”
