Nathan Fleetwood is missing after a night out in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. On the night of his disappearance, March 27, he was spotted in downtown Shrewsbury at about 2.30am. Last seen on Kingsland Bridge. West Mercia police said the body was found by the West Mercia Search and Rescue Service on the Severn River on Friday. The force said the official identification had not yet been made, but the man’s family had been informed of the discovery. Hundreds of people helped with the Fleetwood search, which was organized by his family and friend Toby Owen. In a Facebook post on Help Find Missing Nathan Fleetwood, which has more than 8,900 members, Owen thanked the community for the gathering. He wrote: “Nathan, I just want you to know from the bottom of my heart that we all love you so much and we did everything we could to get you home safe.” He added a message saying he was from the Fleetwood family, asking for “time and space” to come to terms with their loss. Another Facebook post by Fleetwood’s mother, Carol, invited community members to join the family on Sunday to “share stories and memories from our very special son.”
