Anthony Adams bought a junk honorary doctorate for $ 79 (£ 60) online, but boasted that he was recognized by the University of California for his humanitarian work in Africa. He officially changed his name to Dr. Anthony Brennan and registered on academia.edu, which collects the achievements of bona fide academics. On the site, Adams left the award-winning work of world-renowned American scientist Professor Anthony Brennan as his own. Record said this week that Adams, 28, admitted in court that he had passed as a Celtic scout and was due to be sentenced next week. Our latest revelations show how the fantasy seeker has spent much of his life dreaming of big alter egos. He has done much of his company with the RSA, which is looking for members whose work promotes the good of humanity. They include Sir David Attenborough, Nelson Mandela and Stephen Hawking. But he used his other fake credentials to fulfill the terms of the scholarship. Adams admitted to paying ρών 15 a month in subscriptions, but claims someone else suggested it. A woman contacted us after ordering medical supplies from Adams needed for her diabetic son. He failed to send the equipment. The source, a nurse, told us: “My partner and I were very upset with this man’s behavior and we learned his background and found out that he had gone from Anthony Adams to Dr. Anthony Brennan. “He said he was a doctor and there was no doubt that he meant a doctor. “He seems to be a little pathetic, but there is an awful side to him.” Adams returned the ρες 170 only after police were called. He said his honorary degree from the Church and University Institute of California arrived in the mail because information about his humanitarian work in Ghana had reached the United States. He said: “I never went to become a doctor. However, I have an honorary doctorate as an honorary doctor of alternative health from CCUI. “This was about the same time that I was applying for an FRSA scholarship to the Royal Society of Arts because of my volunteer work in my community and abroad, especially in Ghana. “The honorary degree has just come through the position. “I just assumed it was awarded to me for the same reason I was awarded the RSA scholarship.” It is understood that Adams volunteered in Ghana several years ago. At academia.edu, Adams, while playing Dr Brennan, boasted: “Having worked in the NHS for many years, I chose prehospital care to assimilate how medicine works in a faster environment.” He has changed his name to companies registered with Companies House, such as Ayrshire Complementary Therapy Ltd, to Dr Anthony Brennan, claiming to be a health professional. The North Ayrshire Community Resilience Group website quoted Dr. Anthony Adams FRSA as saying, “Anthony recently received a fellowship from the Royal Society of the Arts and an Honorary Doctor of Alternative Health for his work.” He says the doctorate was awarded by the University of California.
