Britain’s Got Talent has denied allegations of a new repair after viewers took to Twitter to accuse the show of holding an audition.
There was no dry eye in the house on Saturday night when a shy dad in the audience was surprised by his two little daughters.
Unsuspecting contestant Nick Edwards was shocked when his mom and daughters appeared on stage to audition him.

After some encouragement, a hesitant Nick, 35, arrived on stage, where he explained that he had lost confidence in his song and hid his talent.
He told the judges: “I hope to keep my nerves and cry while I do this.”
After being given time to prepare, Dad sang a moving song dedicated to his daughters, with the show leaving everyone in tears.
Nick received four enthusiastic yes from the judges and advanced to the next round of the competition.
However, many viewers took to Twitter to accuse the emotional show of being fake, after spotting a microphone nailed to his chest while in the audience.
Someone wrote: “As cute as that is, I do not think the nick on #BGT has already put a microphone, it must have had some idea of something.”

Another echoed: “Nick was wearing a microphone while sitting in public. He had song lyrics and a guitar. In addition, everyone has to go through a lot of auditions before they even appear on live TV. 100% directed !! ‘

However, Britain’s Got Talent offered a reason for the microphone, explaining that Nick was approached on arrival to be part of the “gogglebox” audience, which is the whole microphone, to give live reactions to the actions.

An official said: “We were delighted to welcome our viewers back to BGT last night after a year of absence. Mentioning or hinting at anything that has been directed or fabricated about listening to Nick would be false and misleading.
“Quite simply, when Nick entered the Palladium amphitheater during the BGT auditions, they approached him to be part of our gogglebox audience and told him they would microphone him to record his reactions throughout day as he sat in public. .
“He was completely unsuspecting. “We did this so that we could make him a microphone without suspecting anything.”
