Calgary police told CTV News that police were called to the scene of a head-on collision at 14 NW between Kensington Road and Memorial Drive at about 2:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found that two people had been injured and the driver of one of the vehicles appeared to be disabled.
The EMS says two people, an adult man and an adult woman, were taken to Foothills Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
Police say the driver was arrested at the scene and charges of driving are pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
