In a YouTube video, Will explained what happened behind the scenes and apologized to his family, the public — and Chris.

“I reached out to Chris and the message he got back is that he’s not ready to talk – and when he is, he will,” Will said.
He added, “I’ll tell you, Chris: I apologize. My behavior was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”

Turns out Chris probably won’t be ready to talk anytime soon — at least according to sources close to him.

“Chris has no plans to contact Will,” the source told ET, adding that Chris knows Will wants to publicly accept his apology.

Unfortunately, the source says they believe the timing of the apology was more in Will’s best interest, not Chris’s.

While Chris hasn’t made any public statements about the future of his relationship with Will, he said he’s “not a victim” of the situation.
