After a two-year absence, Coachella finally made its long-awaited return on Friday (April 15th). Located in Indio, California, the Desert Festival has gained popularity over the years for its glamorous Instagram dress code and major celebrity appearances. Here are 10 of the biggest discussion points from day one.

  1. Harry Styles thrilled fans with new songs – and a surprise image of country Shania Twain. On stage, the former One Direction star was credited with listening to Twain’s albums, learning to sing, and then bringing her to a timeless megahit “Man I Feel Like A Woman” and “Still The One”.

Coachella organizers relax Covid-19 restrictions for this year’s festival

Participants in Coachella will not need to present Covid vaccination certificates, negative tests or wear face masks at this year’s festival. However, there will be Covid test tents on site. Organizers said the lifting of these restrictions was in line with California state health directives, adding that they could be restored in the face of changing public health conditions. That could mean “changes in capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements,” according to a statement posted on Coachella’s official website. How to access Coachella live stream

If you could not get a bracelet for the weekend, do not be afraid. For the tenth year in a row, fans can still access Coachella’s live stream on YouTube via phone, desktop, smart TV and YouTube music app. The live stream of the weekend starts at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET on Friday 15 April and lasts until the afternoon of Monday 18 April. Justin Bieber is rumored to have made the surprise appearance

Rumor has it that Justin Bieber will make a surprise appearance on Coachella during Daniel Caesar’s set, scheduled for Friday, April 15 from 22:10 to 22:55 PT.
