The eastbound lanes of the 401 Freeway between the Shannonville and Marysville exits are expected to be closed for some time after a crash early today. Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single vehicle collision just after 3 a.m. There are few details of the crash, but a trailer reportedly caught fire. The freeway was briefly closed in both directions before the westbound lanes reopened just after 4am OPP say the eastbound lanes between exit 556 Shannonville Rd/County Rd 7 and exit 566 Marysville Rd/County Rd 49 remain closed for cleanup. Detour: south on CR 7 – east on Old Hwy2 – north on CR 49.
