Ike Souzer, 18, removed his electronic surveillance bracelet hours after he was taken to a Santa Ana home from Theo Lacy Facility in Orange on Wednesday, according to the Orange County Attorney’s Office. He was arrested in a homeless camp in Anaheim on Sunday by undercover investigators, DA spokeswoman Kimberly Edds told The Post. He is currently being held in Santa Ana County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday, but it is unclear whether he will be tried in a juvenile court or a regular court, as he is serving a sentence for juvenile delinquency, Ebb said. Sauser – described as a high-functioning teenager from Garden Grove – was convicted of killing his mother, Barbara Sauser-Sauser, 48, when he was just 13 years old. He stabbed her several times with a knife and then left her on the ground outside their house to die. He was also convicted in December of assaulting three prison officials, officials said. He was released in the middle of the street 15 months earlier before his sentence expired on July 9, 2023, according to the DA office. This is not Suzer’s first escape. In 2019, the teenager climbed over the fence of the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center in the middle of the night, having somehow climbed to the roof of the facility before fleeing on foot. Arrested again the same day at a McDonalds in Anaheim, where he was peacefully arrested by police
