Jordan Simpson, 27, of Springettsbury Township, was found dead in the 500 block of West Market Street on Wednesday, according to the medical examiner’s office. A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were injured in the same shooting, according to police. Miguel M. Roman, 30, from York, has been identified as the second person killed in the shooting, according to the forensic service. The elderly man is expected to survive. Autopsies for Simpson and Roman are scheduled for Friday, which will help determine the cause and manner of death. The medical examiner said that these cases are being investigated as homicide. The medical examiner’s office shared that it marks the 8th and 9th homicides of the year in York County, with 8 of them occurring within the city. One of the other homicides was 29-year-old Milford Singletary, who was shot Monday but died Wednesday night. The Singletary was found on block 500 of Walnut Street, according to police.
