Man Utd fans fire flares as they protest against the Glazers
Manchester United hat-trick hero Cristiano Ronaldo gave the ball to young Alejandro Garnazzo after helping Ralph Rangnik’s team beat Norwich City in the Premier League.
Ronaldo’s goals helped Rangnik’s team secure a convincing victory, with goals from Kieran Dowell and Teemu Puki bringing the Premier League last team back from 2-0 to 2-2 before the veteran winner. However, with Tottenham and Arsenal both losing, the result puts United in the Champions League match.
The young Garnazzo was included in a Premier League match team for the first time, although he remained on the bench as United achieved a victory. And, after describing his teammate as the “greatest of all time”, the teenager was rewarded by Ronaldo after the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo sets an impressive record for the 17th consecutive season with the hat-trick of Manchester United.
Garnacho’s first appearance on match day came after being called up to the Argentina squad for the first time in March. He has now trained with Ronaldo and Lionel Messi before doing his big bow.
The 17-year-old has appeared for United under-21 in the Papa John’s Trophy and joined the team for the match against Norwich along with the talent of the Hannibal academy. His stake in the FA Youth Cup comes with Garnacho scoring five goals and three assists in five games to help his team reach the final.
He did not enter the field, with Rangnik choosing to bring Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Marcus Rasford. However, after the game, he was spotted exchanging words with Ronaldo as the veteran handed over the match ball.

Rangnik spoke enthusiastically about Garnazzo before the game, telling MUTV: “He has been training with us for the last two weeks and he is one of the most promising players. He is only 17, but if he keeps his feet on the ground, he will not. I will only sit on the bench, but I will play for this club “.
Ronaldo’s hat-trick was his third for United and his second since returning to the club in August. However, Rangnick warned his team that they should not rely on the magic of their top scorer.
“We must not rely on him alone,” the German told the BBC after the game. “It is still possible [to get top four]”The results elsewhere have been good, but it still does not make sense to just look at the other results – we need to take care to increase our performance and become more physical.”
Thanks to the Spurs’s home defeat to Brighton and Arsenal’s defeat to Southampton, United are just three points out of the top four with six games to play. However, their next game in the league is against Liverpool, which is chasing the title, and Ranknik admitted that the team must be at its best to have a chance of winning.
