Surveillance footage shows a man carrying the U-Haul box on a doll and throwing it near a parking lot in the complex, Hughey says. Investigators say they identified the man from the crime scene. “I could not comment on his motivation for returning to the stage,” said Hughey. The man, who is considered a person of interest, was found in the apartment complex and was taken for questioning. Despite the disturbing details, many residents in the apartment complex did not stop because of how often crime occurs there. “It’s normal here,” said Ashley Garcia, a resident. “Something always happens in this band. It’s not very safe. So finding out that there was a box with a body is nothing short of shocking.” For updates on this story, follow Brooke Taylor on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
