Delaware Accident 3 Firefighters Hurt After Fire Engine Collides With Tractor Trailer On I 295 Near Landers Lane

It happened around 7 p.m. on I-295 heading east on Landers Lane. Officials say a Minquadale Fire Company truck was responding to an accident when the truck was hit by a tractor-trailer. The driver of the fire truck lost control, hit a protective rail and then overturned. Several firefighters were trapped for a while before being released. All three firefighters were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not said if the driver of the tractor was injured.
