A driver has had his vehicle impounded after police caught them doing 64km/h over the posted speed limit in Mount Pearl. Police spotted the vehicle just after 10:30 last night. They say the speed limit in the area is 50 km/h, meaning the vehicle was traveling at 114 km/h at the time. In addition to having their vehicle impounded, the driver was issued a ticket for the violation.
