A Mexican “drug baron” wanted in 200 different countries has finally been arrested after “abandoning all security protocols” to spend a few nights with a model. Brian Donaciano Olguin Berdugo, 39, reportedly went to Colombia to negotiate cocaine deals with the Revolutionary Armed Forces-Colombian People’s Army (FARC). The Marxist guerrilla group is believed to be financing itself by engaging in multiple activities, including drug distribution. Berdugo, known in drug circles as Pete, worked with the FARC on behalf of the Sinaloa cartel, one of the most notorious drug gangs in the world. But after completing his deals, Berdugo went to meet a model in a luxury apartment in Cali, Valle del Cauca. The couple stayed there for several nights and the anonymous woman finally managed to convince Berdugo to visit the busy tourist spot Cerro de los Cristales. The model posted a photo of the two of them kissing and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) saw where she was.
