Most restaurants will be open, but it is a good idea to call and check. The following is a list of what is open and closed between some of the island’s major businesses and public services.

The COVID-19 test clinics in Charlottetown, Slemon Park and Borden-Carleton are closed on Sunday, reopening on Monday. All schools are closed on Mondays. All federal, provincial and municipal government offices are closed on Monday. The Sobeys, Co-op and Foodland stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open on Monday. Atlantic Superstores are closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open normally on Monday. Murphy’s Pharmacy locations are open Sunday and Monday. All PEI Liquor Control Commission stores are closed on Easter Sunday but open on Monday. All PEI Cannabis stores will be closed on Sunday, but will have regular business hours on Monday. The Confederation Court Mall is closed on Sundays, but the Shoppers Drug Mart Mall is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Both offer regular hours on Mondays. Charlottetown Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, but reopens on Monday. The County Fair Mall in Summerside is closed on Easter Sunday, but the Lawton’s Drug Store in the mall is open from noon until 5 p.m. Walmart is closed on Easter Sunday and reopens on Monday. Islands Waste Management will have its regular collection on Monday. T3 Transit will not provide buses on Easter Sunday, but will run as scheduled on Monday. PEI public libraries are closed on Easter Sunday and reopen on Monday. The Canada Post will not deliver mail on Monday.
