Courts have heard of a sexual predator targeting three victims in downtown Liverpool in just four days. Meanwhile, a judge convicted a man who raped a woman a few days after giving birth. Judges had to convict a gang “assembler” of his involvement in a failed shooting. They also convicted a bully who hit a woman and then tried to urinate on her. A court also heard of a perverted caregiver being exposed to a vulnerable woman during a video call. A judge also had to convict a woman who cheated on her best friend with more than .000 100,000. John Wood

John Wood, 38, of Dowanhill Street, Glasgow (Image: Police Scotland) John Wood raped an injured mom a few days after she was born. The 38-year-old caregiver from Cheshire met the victim, from Liverpool, at an online conference and they continued talking. But when she traveled to her new home in Glasgow to meet him, he raped her and then subjected her to control behavior. Wood moved to her home in Liverpool, became pregnant and felt trapped, and raped her again after giving birth. He had also twice raped a woman in Scotland and was tried in Glasgow High Court on charges of raping both women. Wood, of Dowanhill Street in Glasgow, was found guilty of raping both women. He was imprisoned for six years.

Lewis Fitzpatrick

Lewis Fitzpatrick, 26, of Eldersfield Road, Norris Green, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (Image: Cheshire Police) Lewis Fitzpatrick helped organize a gang attack when an innocent man was killed by a fake pizza driver. The victim was shot in the leg by a trumpeter who knocked on his front door and shouted “pizza delivery” holding boxes of fast food. Norris Green “corrector” Lewis Fitzpatrick arranged the strike in Warrington on the night of April 24, 2020, as part of an underworld war. The 27-year-old, from Eldersfield Road, was also an EncroChat “LimeEagle” drug dealer, planning to supply pounds of ketamine and cannabis. He was convicted of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, of supplying firearms and ammunition, and of supplying both drugs. Fitzpatrick was sentenced to 26 years in prison, with a five-year extension on leave.

Steven Smith

Stephen Smith, 32, of Snowberry Road, Stockbridge Village Stephen Smith hit a mom on the head with a straightener before trying to urinate on her. He also strangled his ex-partner a few days earlier in a series of increasingly brutal attacks. The 32-year-old, from Stockbridge Village, tied the belt around her neck and tightened it on December 21 last year. He attacked her again on Christmas Eve, hitting a cart full of Christmas groceries and spilling her to the ground. On Christmas day he hit her on the head with straighteners and her boots and then tried to urinate on her before spitting on her. Smith, of Snowberry Road, has admitted to three counts of assault – all of which witnessed some of the victim’s children. He was imprisoned for three years.

David Botomli

David Bottomley, 58, of Hoole Lane, Banks Former karate teacher David Botomli, who raped a schoolgirl and a woman, has been described as a “monster”. The 58-year-old former port officer and prison security officer was exposed as a “violent and abusive” rapist and pedophile. Bottomley abused a woman by committing a historic sexual offense against her, which today would be described as rape. In another incident he used a karate kick to the woman’s jaw while wearing boots with a steel hat. His second victim was a schoolgirl, whom Bottomley, from Hoole Lane, Banks, raped when he was about 12 years old. He was found guilty of rape, indecency with a child and two counts of indecent assault on a schoolgirl. Bottomley was sentenced to 14 years in prison, with a one-year extension on leave.

John Pennington

John Pennington, 39, of Crossford Road, Knotty Ash Stalker John Pennington, who was terrorizing a woman in Merseyside, was jailed again for failing to learn his lesson. The 39-year-old had previously targeted an ex-girlfriend in Liverpool by cutting her tires and placing a tracking device in her car. But when he was released from that prison sentence, he contacted a different woman, violating a non-harassment order. Penfordton, of Crossford Road, Knotty Ash, was convicted of stalking. He was imprisoned for two years.

Anna Bonner

Anna Bonner, 40, of Seaview Road, Liscard Anna Bonner has been lying for years to cheat on her best friend and bridesmaid for over .000 100,000. She asked Susan Hughes for huge sums of money, which she said supported her cancer treatment for a sick friend, but actually financed her own way of life. The 40-year-old even encouraged Mrs. Hughes’ love for the man she only met a few times, prompting her to write letters and send gifts she thought would be given to him, but Boehner actually received them. The man was not suffering from cancer and a judge called the mother of three children Bonner “greedy, deceitful and manipulative” because he stole more than 117,000 pounds from her friend. Bonner, of Seaview Road, Liscard, admitted to the fraud with a false statement. He was sentenced to two years and four months.

Peter Edge

Peter Edge, 62, from Goswell Street, Wavertree (Image: Lancashire Police) The father of a young woman with Down Syndrome stepped into the perverted care worker Peter Edge by exposing himself to her during a video call. Edge, 62, was the director of a company that offered respite care to adults with disabilities – in order to give parents and carers a much-needed break. But he betrayed them in the most destructive way, raped and sexually assaulted the victim in a West Lancashire center when he was empty. The abuse only came to light when her terrified dad saw that Edge had exposed his penis over a webcam while the victim was at her family home. Police discovered that Edge sexually abused her the first day she was allowed to leave after being protected from the coronavirus as a vulnerable person. Edge, of Goswell Street, Wavertree, was found guilty of rape, sexual assault and other offenses. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with a five-year extended leave.

Darren Hayham

Darren Higham, 53, from Chaffinch Close, Birchwood, Warrington (Image: Liverpool ECHO) Darren Heiham, who once complained that he lived next to a convicted pedophile, was imprisoned – because he was a pedophile. The 53-year-old once complained to his local newspaper that he was furious that his housing association did not tell him that his neighbor was a sex offender. But now he is behind bars because he subjected a young girl to a series of miserable sexual assaults from the age of seven to 11. The abuse ranged from the self-employed musician kissing and touching the child to forcing him to have sex on more than one occasion. Higham, of Chaffinch Close, Birchwood, Warrington, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 and inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity. He was imprisoned for four years.

Philip Read

Philip Read, 43, of Portico Lane, Eccleston, used the Encrochat “EducatedGoose” grip while involved in drug trafficking. He was sentenced to 12 years in Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Philip Read who used the EncroChat “EducatedGoose” handle hid 12 kilos of heroin in one bedroom. He was also believed to be handling large sums of cash and using it to buy ketamine and heroin from other agents in the encrypted messaging service. The 43-year-old said he fell into crime after gambling debts as he used drugs for deals in Merseyside during the first five months of 2020. When police raided Read’s home in Portico Lane, Eccleston, in March last year, they found 12 pounds of heroin stored in a bedroom. He admitted conspiring to supply Class A and Class B drugs and conspiracy to convert criminal property. Redd was jailed for 12 years.

Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith, 39, no fixed address Jennifer Smith held a razor blade around the neck of a support worker and threatened to rape another. It targeted women in a care unit in north Liverpool in a horrific incident. The 39-year-old, without a predetermined address, had long-term mental health problems and lived in the facility. Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and one count of sexual assault. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

Ahmed Al-Razawe

Ahmed Al-Razawe, 24, of Upper Park Street, Toxteth Ahmed Al-Razawe bit a woman’s chest in an “asexual” attack on the street causing a permanent scar. The 24-year-old sexually assaulted three victims in downtown Liverpool in just four days. He first poked the thighs of a “terrified” 17-year-old and her 18-year-old girlfriend, after asking them for sex and making “strange noises”, at the Liverpool One bus station on October 23, 2021. Al-Razawi then launched a second “humiliating and humiliating” attack when he hit the bottom of a young woman. He then sank his teeth into her chest and hit her on the head with a bottle of wine on Lydia Ann Street on October 27. Al-Razawe, from Upper Park Street, Toxteth, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault and one count of assault. He was imprisoned for three years.
