D’Mari Johnson was shot in the back of the head outside the Golden Glide rink at Decatur on April 10.
The incident happened around 1 in the morning just outside the front doors of the building.

No arrests have been made so far. Johnson is in a medical coma fighting for his life, his parents said.
The family’s lawyers said in a press conference on Monday that they blame not only the perpetrator, but also Golden Glide for the shooting.
“D’Mari is fighting for his life, so we ask this community to fight for him,” said attorney Sean Williams.
Williams asked anyone who saw the shooting or may have more information to call DeKalb County Police.

$ 10,000 is offered for any information leading to an arrest.
“The bottom line is that the most important thing for this family is to find things and bring to justice the people or people involved in their son’s shooting,” Williams said.
Williams said the family felt they were not receiving enough information from DeKalb County police about the state of the investigation. They also believe that the rink should be held accountable.
“Their child was shot in a place with a history of issues and violence,” Williams said. “The Golden Glide has a history of violence in that place, a history of violence and shootings. We believe that the shooting would not have happened if the place had sufficient security “.
A GoFundMe created to help the family with medical expenses has raised almost $ 5,000.
