-ONE Larger font Increase the font size of the article A+ MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The Greater Boston Airport Authority reports that conditions at Pearson International Airport continue to improve, with fewer flight delays and shorter baggage waits compared to previous weeks. GTAA president and CEO Deborah Flint says 44 percent of flights were on time last week, up from an average of 35 percent over the previous four weeks. Flint says that for domestic travel, the average wait time for luggage to reach the carousel is now 24 minutes, an improvement of three minutes over the previous average of four weeks. It also says there have been fewer cases of passengers being held on their planes to make room at customs — 19 last week, down from a rolling average of 60 over the previous four weeks.
