Firefighters in St. John’s are trying to contain a fire at the city’s Robin Hood Landfill. The fire broke out shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday, with numerous crews from various stations responding. Extra firefighters have been brought in to put out groups due to the heat. VOCM will have more details as they become available.
