The first crew arrived at the spot just before 20:50 tonight, within two minutes of the mobilization. There are 17 response vehicles at the site, of which 13 are fire engines. At the moment, the fire service is not able to confirm the total number of people who were evacuated, however they told Coventry Live that three adults and a child have been evacuated from the 16th floor. They were taken to safety by firefighters, who gave them special fire hoods that ensured safe escape through areas with smoke.
