Via Tom Hedderson on Facebook. A former provincial cabinet minister who represented the Harbor Maine region under former premiers Danny Williams and Kathy Dunderdale has died. Tom Henderson was 68 years old. Henderson, a former educator, was first elected to the constituency in 1999 and re-elected three times, retiring from politics in 2015. He held a number of ministerial portfolios, including Education, Tourism, Intergovernmental Affairs and Fisheries. Opposition Leader David Brazil offered his condolences to Henderson’s family, calling the former politician “one of the nicest people you could ever meet”.
