The incident happened around 2.40 a.m. on Good Friday (April 14), when the four offenders used sledge hammers and an angle grinder to steal cash from the Nisa Local ATM on Longshaw Street. When police rushed to the scene, the perpetrators hit a truck in their car and hurried off in the direction of Winwick Street in a white Volkswagen Golf. Detectives are calling for information and videos after the attack. No police officers were injured in the incident and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
