Avon and Somerset police have released more information about the incident that started around 10:50 this morning. Police say patrol officers were spotted by two men on Bishport Avenue at the time and said two dogs were injured. Police say officers, including armed officers, conducted “analogous searches” in the Hartcliffe area throughout the afternoon to try to find the dogs, but so far the searches have been negative. Investigations are continuing to identify the dog owners and the police are asking anyone with information to call 101 and give the reference number 5222090677.
