The Surrey RCMP said the incident began shortly before 4pm when police tried to drag an uninsured vehicle with unmarked license plates near Scott Road and 102 Avenue.

When the driver failed to stop, Mountis said they tried to use a pin belt on the vehicle, but continued to speed away on the wrong side of the road at 120th Street. Trending Stories
