Battery percentage indicator Among the new features, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone X and iPhone XS will now have the battery percentage displayed in the status bar. This can be enabled from the Battery section in the Settings app. Unfortunately, this feature will not be available on iPhone mini, iPhone 11 and iPhone XR. Apple Watch users will also be able to hear the same sound when they tap on the iPhone icon to locate their smartphone. Lock screen visualizer The fifth beta of iOS 16 has reportedly added a full-screen music player with a mini live visualizer. Music app changes With the new update, Dolby Atmos and Lossless indicators will now appear next to the track genre. They are currently placed below the Play and Shuffle buttons. Copy and Delete Users will be able to see a new ‘Copy and Delete’ option after taking screenshots from their iPhones. From now on, after users press “Done” options such as “Save to Photos”, “Save to Files”, “Delete Screenshot” and “Cancel” are displayed. In July, a report in 9to5Mac, a technology portal, said that iOS 16 will offer the option of not sending and modifying (editing) messages to its users. Likewise, the latest beta version brings changes to the home app, lock screen, mail app, messages, and notifications. As for the Messages app, Apple has reportedly addressed the edit history issue. iOS 16 is expected to launch alongside the launch of the iPhone 14 series.
