I thought it would be nothing or very small. When I went to the doctors, they asked me how long I had the mole on my shoulder but I had no idea I had one there. “Everything happened very quickly. I saw the doctor in the middle of the week and by Monday I had surgery. I was told that malignant melanoma was the most serious and aggressive form and in six to eight weeks it would spread to my organs – I never realized it was so “Seriously. Fortunately it was the first stage.” He said: “With skin cancer, a lot of people think it’s not that serious and you just remove it and it is, but it’s not that at all. I’m still recovering from another biopsy I did, but I’m getting there. “People ask me if they should check and I always said to check it.
