Travis Etienne, who missed his rookie season with an injury to Lisfranc, won’t play either, Pederson said. Etienne did not practice on Tuesday due to illness, but was otherwise fully involved in training camp. Pederson said he wants to be careful with Etienne, the 25th overall pick in the 2021 draft. “Trevor looks really good here in practice,” Pederson said. “[We] you feel it’s in a good spot.” Backup quarterback CJ Beathard has been limited in camp while recovering from a groin injury suffered in OTAs and also will not play against the Raiders.
