The singer’s ex-husband — with whom she shares two boys, Jayden and Sean — gave a wide-ranging interview to the DailyMail … parts of which are apparently due to air on ITV next week. However, some juicy excerpts did appear in the print version of their story. He doesn’t give a clear reason or explanation in the DM’s post — but there are signs that they might want to keep their distance about a lot of things, including Brit’s behavior lately. He says, “The boys have decided not to see her right now. It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They’ve made the decision not to go to her wedding,” adding that they were happy for her and still wish their mother the best. One possibility why she’s being kept at arm’s length … is actually Britney’s constant posting on social media — especially her nudes — that have embarrassed her teenagers. KF says he tried to explain it, but it’s hard for them regardless. Kevin goes on to say that the very public nature of the conservative battle has been difficult, in general, and he’s tried to shield them from it/the spotlight as best he can…despite their constant questions about it over the years, which he could not answer. She also says that Jamie Spears “saved her life” — and that she would welcome their grandfather back into his life, and into their lives in general, despite the recent drama between them. Anyway, back to Britney. Kevin also had this to say… while the boys were visiting Britney in the middle of her conservative post, they saw things that made him (and possibly them) pretty uncomfortable, but he refuses to go into detail with DM. Considering that, though, and her recent social media rant … she says Sean and Jayden have made up their minds — and that option, for now, is to stay away. Kevin adds, “They tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time, I can say that sometimes it hurts to be in that position. So, I made sure that all my kids could come to me at any time and The boys — all my kids — know to come to me and my wife and talk about anything.” The bottom line, it seems… that level of trust cannot be reached with Britney. Britney and Kevin, of course, share custody of the teens, but KF has them most of the time.
