This week, it was confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have split after nine months of dating. Davidson is currently in Australia filming a new comedy with Orlando Bloom. It was rumored that the distance between them was too much for Kardashian, who is busy with her four children and multiple jobs. However, a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight said the end came because “the spark between them” was “waning.” Kardashian thinks the former Saturday Night Live star is “so sweet, but she didn’t feel ready for anything serious with him.” The source added, “They had tons of chemistry, and still do, but she kind of wants to be single and date. Kim still adores Pete and will always be friends with him. He still thinks he’s the nicest and sweetest guy in the world and there’s no drama or anything weird between them now.” They continued, “She felt that Pete was the complete opposite of Kanye and it was good for her then… At first she thought it would be a fun fling, but then it got more serious when they were spending so much time together. Kim still didn’t feel like she was ready to settle down with him.” Another source on Friday confirmed the end of their fling, saying: “Pete and Kim have split. The distance was difficult and things started to slip away… Pete’s absence for so long was difficult for them. Kim is doing well and knows she has a lot going for her. Pete has been very busy too.” The former couple bonded on the set of SNL while Kardashian served as host, and even shared a kiss in a skit where they played Disney’s Aladdin and Jasmine.
