The relationship began after hosting Kim Saturday night live and the two kissed in one Aladdin-thematic sketch in the show.
“I wasn’t even thinking, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to be in a relationship with him,'” Kim said. The Kardashians. “I was just thinking, ‘I heard about this BDE, I have to get out there. I was basically DTF.”
After plenty of ups and downs — like the two bonding over pimples and skin care — and downs — like Pete getting into a fight with Kanye via text — Kim and Pete have reportedly called it quits, according to E! and People.
The two have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” a source told E!. And ultimately, the long distance and scheduling issues “made it really hard to maintain a relationship.”
As for Kim’s divorce from Kanye West, another source said it’s still happening. “The divorce is moving forward with Kanye. He’s happily co-parenting.”
