The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and Pete Davidson have split up and decided to just be friends, they exclusively tell E! News. Insiders shared that while the couple has “a lot of love and respect for each other,” they found that their long distance and demanding schedules “make it really hard to maintain a relationship.” The split happened sometime this week. Pete has spent part of the summer in Australia working on the movie Wizards!. As for Kim, she continues to raise four children – North, Psalm, Chicago and Saint – with her ex Kanye West. “The divorce is moving forward with Kanye,” another insider shared with E! News. “He’s happily co-parenting.” Back in November, a source confirmed to E! News that Pete and Kim are officially dating. At the time, the insider said both parties are very happy to see where it goes. “Pete told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else,” the source said. “She tells a few people they’re not too serious, but she’s not seeing anyone else… She tries not to make a big deal about it, but she loves him very much.”

Sources close to the couple say the couple decided to end things, and according to E!, which first reported the split, the couple’s constantly busy schedules and distance between them made it very difficult to continue their romance. As we reported, Pete has recently been spending a lot of time in Australia, where he is filming a movie, and Kim is balancing traveling and working around the world while raising her 4 children in Los Angeles. Kim recently flew Down Under to see Pete after some time apart, but it’s unclear if that’s when the two decided to pull the plug on their relationship or if it was more recent. From there, Kim visited Pete in his hometown of Staten Island, where the two dined on pizza and pasta at one of Pete’s local spots. After that, the relationship seemed to take off… the two vacationed together and constantly flew coast to coast to spend weekends in New York and Los Angeles It was in April when Kim and Pitt made their red carpet debut together at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner. Although we hadn’t seen them together until recently, Kim recently posted a series of steamy photos of her and Pete — seemingly reminding people that they were still a thing. Multiple sources have told us that Kim and Kanye have been getting along lately, even though their divorce is still ongoing. We’re told it’s highly unlikely they’ll ever get back together… but never say never.
