The video was taken Sunday morning in Venice, Florida, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. The deputies estimated that the pipe was about 10 feet (3 meters) long. The sheriff’s office notified the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Committee. Neighbors were also warned to be vigilant as the alligator went down to Lake Harrington to take an Easter breakfast for a swim. Venice is located south of Tampa on the shores of the Gulf of Florida.
