Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews remain at the scene this morning (April 16) to deal with the blaze. As a result, the nearby A377 will remain closed until at least noon, according to the Devon County Council. Several fire stations, including Barnstaple, Danes Castle in Exeter and South Molton, have sent crews to the site. A spokesman for the fire brigade said no injuries had been reported. The spokesman added that the barn where the fire started contained many caravans, machines and rollers. The barn is reported to have suffered “100 percent damage”.
