Cleveland police, the Northeast Ambulance Service and the Cleveland Fire Department have reportedly been dispatched to the scene. Saltburn Road has been blocked by force. An eyewitness also said the police helicopter was hovering over the spot. A car got stuck in the sand, near the pier, around 20.30.
