A 37-year-old man has been charged with stealing a vehicle from the center of the capital on Saturday night. Police say the vehicle, a newer model SUV, was reported stolen shortly after 11 p.m. The vehicle was later found in the city center with minor damage. The defendant was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property, fraud, curfew violation and resisting arrest. He was also charged with similar violations for two other separate incidents. He will appear in court today.
