Emergency services were called after a silver Ford Fiesta crashed near the Allander Toll roundabout on Balmore Road at around 12:50 on Thursday. A 34-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where medical staff described his condition as critical. Police are now appealing to the public for information to determine the circumstances of the accident. Sergeant Adnan Alam of the Glasgow Road Police Department said: “A man was seriously injured as a result of this collision and we are seeking information to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. “Investigations are ongoing and I would ask anyone who saw the collision or anyone in the area at the time with a roof-mounted camera in their vehicle to contact us.” Anyone with information can contact the Scottish Police at 101, reporting incident number 0116 on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
