Just before 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of house shootings in the Silverstone area and Mount Olive drives.
Police say several shootings were reported.
A man was found inside the house with a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition, Toronto paramedics said.
The shootings reportedly came from outside the house and a dark car was leaving the area, police said.
No suspicious information has been provided.
The area is closed for research.
