Emergency services were called to St Anne Street at around 7.30pm on Thursday when police said the man was on the roof. Ambulances and fire brigades are at the scene where police are trying to talk to the man. It is not clear what triggered the incident, but according to witnesses, negotiators are trying to persuade him to come down. The man appears to be wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt and black jeans as he walks over the station guard suite. St Anne Street is closed between Fox Street and Islington. Police urged people to avoid the area as the incident continues.
