Arsenal legend Ian Wright has claimed that Manchester United would be a long way off without Cristiano Ronaldo this season, as he warned that the Red Devils could face another hammer in Liverpool’s hands.
The Portuguese forward starred as the Red Devils returned to winning ways in a thriller with five goals against Norwich on Saturday, but without his hat-trick, United looked vulnerable to the last team.
United travel to Anfield on Tuesday to face Liverpool, who beat Manchester City 3-2 in their own FA Cup semi-final.

Wright also sent a warning to United ahead of midweek’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Tuesday’s clash is crucial for both sides with Jürgen Klopp’s team chasing City at the top of the Premier League, while United are still in the race for the top four, occupying fifth place by three points from the Tottenham.
They won a vital three-pointer as Ronaldo disbanded his team with his treble, after the Canaries backed down from 2-0.
Wright claimed that Ralph Rangnick’s team would not be close to a place in the Champions League without the 37-year-old.
He said in the Premier League productions: “If he [Ronaldo] if he was not at Manchester United, he would be nowhere where he is now. This you pay for and it is delivered. “He’s amazing, he’s amazing.”
The Portuguese foul for the team achieved a 3-2 victory for Ralph Ragnik’s team.

But the former Gunners forward warned that if United resumed their miserable performance at the weekend against their bitter rivals, they could face a similar 5-0 win over Liverpool as they did earlier in the season.
“We are talking about a team at the bottom of the league [Norwich] who gave United two goals today, literally. And they are still able to open United. “If United play like this against Liverpool, they will be completely beaten.”
Ronaldo is said to have received a 8 850,000 bonus after his hat-trick in the 3-2 victory.
According to the Sun, Ronaldo activated a clause related to bonuses in his contract, after reaching 21 goals for the season.
United won 5-0 at the hands of tough opponent Liverpool earlier in the season.
Ronaldo’s contract includes a bonus of .000 750,000 to reach 20 goals plus an additional .000 100,000 for his hat-trick.
He will now receive .000 100,000 for every other goal he scores for the rest of this season.
United will also pay their top scorer this season 1 1 million and Ronaldo looks almost certain to achieve this distinction as he is 12 goals ahead of his closest opponent Bruno Fernandes.
In addition, Ronaldo will receive around 75 2.75 million in total payments if he manages to reach 30 goals this season.
Although he has received some criticism since returning to United last year, Ronaldo plays an important role as he tries to keep alive his team’s hopes of finishing in the top four.
